We are hosting one of our favorite distilleries for a special pop-up at Kelnero! Come taste some of Edmonds’ very own Scratch Distillery’s newest spirits, original favorites, and cocktail specials. Scratch Distillers will be on site to answer questions and talk story about some of our favorite juice.

Scratch Distillery opened in 2015 with the mission of creating gin from scratch with premium, locally-sourced, sustainably made ingredients. Distiller Kim Karrick has steadily expanded the distillery’s offerings alongside husband Bryan, and now offers a range of spirits including whiskey, rum, and liqueurs, all made with the same care and ethical backbone as the very first batch. Come meet these incredible humans, and taste the spirits they have poured their hearts into for a decade.

There are few things more summery than a frosty, crisp margarita, so to celebrate the sunniest month of the year we decided to take a wander through the wonderful world of agave with a tasting of some of our favorite aged expressions. We will start off with (obviously) a margarita, then taste G4 Reposado, Fortaleza Reposado, Tears of Llorona Extra Anejo, Código 1530 Anejo, and 123 Diablito Extra Anejo. We will taste through a complex array of Islay Scotch selections alongside Brand Ambassador Devin Vilardi, an expert in all things whiskey, especially Bruichladdic. We will dip our toes in with a Classic Laddie cocktail, then taste through the Barley Single Malt 2014, Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014, Port Heavily Peated Charlotte 18 Year, Octomore 15.1, and the 18 Year.

Join us as we explore five of our favorite NA spirits and three of our most popular alcohol-free cocktails to help you decide what you want to buy, and elevate your home NA drinking game. Part of Buffalo Trace's coveted Antique Selection, we will compare three unique releases of George T. Stagg side by side. These bottles were made with the same grain makeup and aged identically, so we will get to see the incredible influence that barrel aging has on bourbon as we explore the marked difference in flavor between releases. This tasting is for all lovers of fine and rare bourbon, or anyone who wants to explore the flavor nuances of the category.
